National Nutrition Month

Nutrition is the science or practice of consuming and utilizing foods. Food provides our body with energy, protein, essential fats, vitamins, and minerals to live, grow, and function properly. Therefore, a balanced diet is important for good health and well-being. It is said that an unhealthy diet increases the risk of many diet-related diseases. Therefore, we can say that a balanced diet plays an important role in our life to be healthy and for that proper knowledge about nutrition is very necessary. So, to make community aware of healthy life and intake of diet National Nutrition month is celebrated in September proper month. Good Farming – Good Food, along with Solidaridad and its stakeholders’ support, celebrates National Nutrition month with women from the farming community of Madhya Pradesh, through the numerous awareness sessions, exhibitions, food festivals and training, receive an opportunity to grow and improve awareness on nutrition management.
